Ecstatic Dance Retreat Amsterdam
Dance every day
On August 23, we gather on conscious art ship Odessa to dance, sing, connect, and celebrate in community.
A rich program where we explore the connection between nature, the city and ourselves. With Ecstatic Dance sessions in mornings and evenings, workshops, yoga and one special Ecstatic adventure on an outside location, this retreat will make us go very deep into our natural selves. Our DJ's, musicians and ceremony leaders will facilitate musical and spiritual journeys. There will be lots of time to relax, sweat in the sauna, dip into the hot tub, hang out on our rafts and swim in the river. All on a natural high.
Ecstatic Dance
is a freeform conscious dance
where movement expands
spirit activates
boundaries melt
boredom ceases
creativity breaks out
hope happens
beauty flows
communities collaborate
ritual is reinvented
harmony resonates
The beat deepens
as an electronic tapestry of world rhythms
weave us together
as individuals
within a greater family.
PROGRAM
Dance every day! Here's the program. Some small changes may occur.

Tabla, Santoor, Sarod, Flute, Tanpura, Harmonium and Vocals ... with beats, synthesizers, drums and percussion. Recordings made across India from Bhajans, Kirtans, Mantras, street musicians, fellow travelers, jam sessions, concerts, nature and temple sounds are mixed together with psychedelic hypnotic electronic sounds, rhythms and bass lines.
